What are cookies?
This cookie policy explains what cookies are, which ones Element UI uses and why, and how you can change your choice at any time.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Websites can also keep small pieces of information in your browser's local storage and session storage, which work in much the same way. In this policy, "cookies" means all of them.
How do we use cookies?
We use a few cookies that the site needs to work: to remember your cookie choice, to keep you signed in, and to remember the few settings you choose on the site. These are always on.
We also use analytics cookies to understand how people find and use Element UI, so we can improve it. If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask first: nothing analytics related loads until you click Accept in the cookie banner, and nothing is sent to our analytics providers before then. Everywhere else, analytics is on from your first visit, and you can turn it off at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page. If you click Reject, we use only the strictly necessary cookies, and we remove the analytics cookies stored on our site.
We don't run ads, so we don't use advertising, retargeting or ad measurement cookies. Google Analytics runs with Google signals and ad personalization turned off. If you visited our previous site, it may have stored a Google Ads click id in your browser: we remove it on your first visit, and clicking Reject also removes any Google Ads cookies it left on our domain.
Some pages show content from other services, such as a map, a video or a product demo. It loads with the page, and those services may set their own cookies (see "Third-party content" below).

| What it does |
|---|

Third-party content
Some pages show content from another service: a Google map in some component previews, a Vimeo video in a component preview, a Supademo product demo in one of our guides, and any video or other content embedded in our posts, guides, support articles and changelog. This content loads with the page, and the service may set its own cookies under its own cookie policy. Our Vimeo videos ask Vimeo not to track you ("do not track"). The demo video on some of our landing pages loads from Vimeo only when you press play.
Manage cookie preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking Cookie settings, or the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of any page. This opens the cookie banner again, where you can accept, or reject to withdraw your consent right away. When you reject, we remove the analytics cookies and the choices listed under "Analytics" above.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. These guides explain how in the major browsers:
If you use another browser, please see its official support pages.
